Oval Office Redesign for Obama

Oval Office suffered a makeover while Obama was on Martha's Vineyard. The changes come just in time for Obama's televised speech late on Tuesday.

If you plan to watch the speech, keep your eyes out for the following changes, which were announced in a statement on Tuesday:

• New and reupholstered furniture, new paint and wallpaper.
• New carpet produced and donated by a Michigan-based company and paid by the Association nonprofit White House Historical through a contribution of the Presidential Inaugural Committee.
• The existing furniture in the Oval Office will continue to be owned by the White House and will be placed in a storage facility.
• Oval Office were covered with striped wall paper craft produced in Amagansett, NY The trim around the Office was re-painted with Benjamin Moore's American-made custom-mixed by Donald Kaufman color.
• The young corn, cream and blue color oval rug is made of 25 percent recycled wool. The mat has the presidential seal in the center of meaning and historical quotes for President Barack Obama around the edge. The rug was made and donated by the Scott Group, a carpet manufacturer American based in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Oval Office Room for Obama

• Chairs: The two mahogany armchairs by the fireplace, formerly used by President George W. Bush has been reupholstered with a caramel-colored leather.
• Chair: President's desk chair brown leather was produced in New York.
• Table of coffee: The coffee table is made of American walnut and mica in a New York company.
• Sofas: Sofas in the Oval Office were tailored in New York. The fabric, a custom-made cotton brown with red, white and blue threads running through it, was woven in Pennsylvania.
• 10. Lamps: Two new blue table lamps ceramic bases and were produced in New York.
