Furniture placement plan in apartment

Things need to be prepared:
• furniture models and model ruler
• glue
• ruler
• ¼ inch grid paper
• pencils, erasers and pencil sharpeners
• crayons

Designs include:
• Kitchen
• Bedrooms
• Windows
• closet door
• Front Door
• Living Room (can be easily combined with the dining room)
• Dining area (or can be combined with the kitchen)
• Bathroom
• Windows

Dimensions (For ease of drawing):
• Walls - ½ m wide
• Doors - 3 m wide (adapted for wheelchairs)
• Windows - 3 feet wide (can be doubled)
• Length: 32 feet
• Width: 20 feet

Furniture Placement and Traffic Patterns (walkways)
When placing furniture, be sure to leave room to walk:
• The road must be at least 24 "and 30" if the user wheelchair or walker
• Allow plenty of room between a sofa and a table leg 16-20 "
• Keep items easy to move adjacent
• Leave the room to open doors and drawers.
• Consider appropriate lighting (lights) and for the placement of glass.
• Leave room for movement of the seat dining room and bedroom

Directions:
1. Remember that each square of graph paper ¼ inch is a foot, draw the outside dimensions of length and width of the apartment and make a heavy line with a crayon.
2. Calculate the area of the apartment with the formula for the area: A = L x W
3. Cut your models or if using a rule template, draw the furniture you want in plain white label paper, and cut out.
4. Evaluate the designed space. Visualize how you want to divide the space using the models to see how the mobile space begins to take shape.
